Magpie blends public projection systems by measured accuracy. Jackdaw is computed independently from official statistics. Both are ranked, both are backtested, and both let you plug in your own league's scoring and download a CSV — entirely in your browser.
NFL
Magpie weights public projections by which ones have actually called it
right, position by position — QB, RB, WR, TE, K, DEF. Jackdaw skips the crowd entirely and works
straight from box scores.
MLB
Magpie leans on Jackdaw's own model plus the public systems, batters and
pitchers alike. Where a public projection doesn't exist for a player, Jackdaw covers alone.
NBA
Every position gets the same treatment: Magpie blends Jackdaw with the
public systems, and Jackdaw steps in solo for anyone the public systems miss.
NHL
Skaters and goalies both, checked against six seasons of actual results —
that's how Magpie decides which public systems to trust. Jackdaw fills in the rest on its own.
